Jiu-Jitsu for women over 40: start strong at any age

Tatame 40+ is a Jiu-Jitsu class in Boca Raton made for women over 40 who want to move, learn self-defense and feel capable. Classes are adapted to your pace, with attention to joints and mobility, in a friendly group where starting late is completely normal.

You do not need to have trained before, and you do not need to be flexible or strong. We start from where you are. Techniques are chosen for control and leverage, and partners are matched so that everyone trains safely.

Many students join for the community as much as the training: a regular class, a goal and people who notice when you are missing. If you have a health condition or injury, talk to your doctor and let your instructor know before class.
