Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Gi and No-Gi classes, RGB1 to RGB3, for beginners to advanced

Our adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program in Boca Raton is organized in three levels, RGB1, RGB2 and RGB3, in both Gi and No-Gi. Beginners learn self-defense, conditioning and fundamentals; experienced students refine technique and train with a serious, welcoming team under Master André Araújo.

RGB1 is the starting point: fundamentals, positions and safe training habits. RGB2 builds on them with deeper technique and guided sparring. RGB3 is for students with solid experience who want higher-level detail and more intense training. Gi classes teach grips and control; No-Gi classes focus on speed, wrestling and modern grappling.

You do not need to be fit to begin. Jiu-Jitsu is a sport you get fit for by training, at a pace that respects your body, and you always choose how hard to go.

Training safely as an adult

Jiu-Jitsu is a contact sport. We teach everyone to communicate with partners, to tap early and to train at an intensity that fits their level, especially in the first months. Keep your nails short, wash your gi after each class and tell your instructor about any injury so we can adjust your training.

How to start

  1. Book a free trial

Tell us your experience and goals, and whether you prefer Gi or No-Gi. Complete beginners usually start in RGB1.

  2. Come to class

Wear shorts and a fitted shirt without zippers or pockets. Remove rings and watches. You will learn the basics with other new students.

  3. Choose your next step

After class, your instructor will suggest how many days a week and which level (RGB1, RGB2 or RGB3) fit you.

Frequently asked questions

I have never trained. Can I start with RGB1?
Yes. RGB1 is built for beginners. You will learn the basics step by step, and nobody expects you to know anything on day one.
What is the difference between Gi and No-Gi?
Gi classes use the traditional uniform, so grips and control are central. No-Gi is done in shorts and a fitted shirt and is faster and more athletic. Training both makes you more complete.
Do I have to spar?
No. New students can focus on drills and technique until they are comfortable. When you choose to roll, you control your pace.
Is there a competition path?
Yes. Interested adults can join our competition team. Competing is optional and many students train only for fitness and self-defense.
How often should I train?
Two to three classes a week is a common rhythm for beginners. Your instructors will help you find a schedule that fits your life.
